OK, I don't care for short stories. That said, Sarah Spillman has been in so many Reed Ferguson books that it was nice to see her fleshed out in these 3 short stories. Now it's time that she gets her own full length book, maybe with Reed Ferguson guesting? The writing, as always was good. Renee Pawlish does such a good job with character development I knew I had to read these short stories when I heard about them. I was not disappointed, just left wanting that full length book I've already mentioned.Elvis & the Sports Card Cheat. A quick short story mystery read. Pawlish's continues to develop her lead character, Reed Ferguson. This time she takes on the world of sports cards, educating & entertaining us.

I've come to especially enjoy Renee Pawlish's mysteries, so I picked this up. I don't usually read short stories, but I'm glad I made this exception. I particularly enjoyed seeing her detective from the Reed Ferguson novels become the protagonist in several of the stories. My only complaint had to do with one or two rather abrupt endings. However, this is one of my complaints with short stories. Still and all, a fun read, well worth your time and money.
This is a collection of five short stories. These stories are fun and fast-moving. I wish they were longer because I wanted much more. Anxiously awaiting Renee's next book release.

Stumbled on this author, RENEE PAWLISH, by accident. Read one of her books and was hooked. Really love the REED FERGUSON Mystery Series. Get it, you'll love this author!
I enjoyed this collection of mystery short stories, and they sparked my interest in other works by the author. Four of the five short stories were fun and fast-paced, and I liked them a lot. Like the other reviewer, I also wished the stories were longer. Also, the story called Nerd's Revenge seemed out of place in this collection. It wasn't bad, just didn't fit with the others.
Love the short stories, and get to know about some of the characters a little more. Renée is one of my favorite authors. Love the genre.
Another book by Renee Pawlish that I couldn't put down. A great book that I will recommend to family & friends. I really enjoyed this book 😊
